Meet Michelle
studio principal | lead designer
Michelle (she/her) has been in the DC metro area design industry for almost a decade, focusing on multi-family and hospitality, both new construction and renovation.
Michelle is a well rounded designer who brings her formidable force of talent to every aspect of the design process. Her talents span the gamut of the design process including conceptual design, schematic design, construction documentation, finish and fabric selection, FF&E specifications and budgets, lighting, furniture design and construction administration. Michelle believes design is in the details and works with speed and accuracy to coordinate drawings that accurately reflect design intents while creating timely deliverables.
She gained experience with a wide variety of design roles - including Revit Manager, where she led teamwide training classes (in person and virtual), provided Revit Tech Support, created a company Revit Manual, refined/created the project Revit templates, and created Revit best practices. This is invaluable experience that she can bring to your team and firm. In addition, she was a senior designer, who completed several large scale projects from start to completion. This invaluable experience can assist your team and firm.
Being a part of the design community and paying it forward is very important to Michelle. She is proud to be entering her fifth year on the NEWH DC Metro Chapter Board as VP of Development. She previously held the position of Secretary for one year and Marketing Director for three years where she developed marketing campaigns, communication reach outs and increased social media engagement.
Michelle graduated Magna Cum Laude from Virginia Commonwealth University, with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Interior Design. She resides in Alexandria, VA.

Meet Sara
senior interior designer
Sara Streeter (she/her) is a Senior Interior Designer at boutique hospitality design firm MICHE.studio. Since joining the firm in 2023, she has led multiple successful hotel renovation projects, including the development and execution of a custom prototype for several Wyndham La Quinta–Hawthorn properties. With over a decade of experience at firms such as HOK, R.D. Jones + Associates, Hartman Design Group, and Streetsense, Sara has worked across a diverse portfolio spanning corporate offices to luxury multifamily environments. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Arts from University of Delaware.
Sara is endlessly curious about the world and tries to live by the values of Sesame Street: smarter, stronger, kinder.

Meet Valeria
junior interior designer
Valeria Manfredonia (she/her) brings a global perspective and thoughtful design sensibility to her role at MICHE.studio. Born and raised in Mexico, she discovered her passion for interior design while attending university in her home country before relocating to the United States to further pursue her education and professional goals. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Architecture + Design from Marymount University.
Since joining the MICHE.studio team in 2024, Valeria has been passionate about hospitality design and dedicated to creating intentional, functional interiors. She brings strong technical expertise, a keen eye for detail, and a collaborative approach to every project. Driven by curiosity and a commitment to continuous growth, Valeria is eager to take on new challenges and continue evolving within the interior design industry.

Meet Abigail
junior interior designer
Abigail Foster holds two degrees in Hospitality Management from Florida International University and is completing her final semester in Interior Design at Anne Arundel Community College. Her background in hospitality, business development, and commercial real estate informs her approach to designing spaces that enhance both guest experience and operational performance. Abigail currently serves as the Student Representative for the Washington, DC Chapter of NEWH and is an Etkin Scholar with Urban Land Institute, where she continues to expand her understanding of hospitality development and the built environment.
Through her academic and professional experiences, Abigail has developed a strong interest in hospitality-driven environments, including hotels, restaurants, and experiential spaces. She enjoys exploring how thoughtful design can shape the way people gather, relax, and interact within a space. Outside of design, Abigail enjoys golfing and hosting dinner parties.
